I ran into the Hoover crew at the thrift store late fall and Haley mentioned it being too late to book a session with me for this year! I said what are you guys doing tonight? And she said let’s do it! 3 Hours later we were headed to the outskirts of Lancaster. We met at a little apple orchard, where all the owners requested was for us to buy a bushel before we left. We happily obliged. My kids were running around behind me and hers were running around in front of me. We photographed for maybe 30 minutes, danced among the apple trees and I left feeling inspired. They didn’t need two weeks and two hundred dollars worth of new clothing to pull all of their outfits together or to plan. The photos felt perfectly them!
